Scouting World Crest. This patch is worn by Scouts throughout the world including all in the Boy Scouts of America.
Bobcat Badge. This is the first award earned by Cub Scouts (after Tiger Cubs) regardless of when they entered Cub Scouting.
Wolf Badge. This award is earned during the second grade year.
Bear Badge. This award is earned during the 3rd grade year.
Webelos Badge. This award is normally earned during the first year of Webelos (4th grade). The major part of the requirement is the completion of 4 Activity Pins, which are part of the Webelos program and similar to Boy Scout Merit Badges.
Compass Point Emblem. This award is earned after the Webelos Badge (normally in the 5th grade year) for achievement in the earning of additional Activity Pins. Arrow Points are pinned to the patch for completing successfully higher numbers of Activity Pins.
Arrow of Light. The highest award earned in Cub Scouting. It is the only award that may later be worn on the Boy Scout uniform.
Service Stars are earned by Tiger Cubs, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Adult Leaders, and Employees of the Boy Scouts of America. The numeral tells the years of service, and the color backing tells in which groups of BSA it was earned. Tiger Cubs are Orange, Cub Scouts are Blue, and Leaders are Yellow.
The recruiter stripe is awarded for bringing a member into scouting.
The Tiger Cub Strip is worn by Cub Scouts who are formally Tiger Cub Scouts.
Members of the Atlanta Area Council wear this patch. Pack 450, Den 7, is in the North Fulton District of the Atlanta Area Council. There are about 10 Districts.
Red Numerals show the Pack Number within a Council.
There are many awards, including adult leader awards, that show a square knot in various colors. This particular knot is for completing religious training. Usually it takes at least two years to earn one of these knots. There is one for each adult leader position in Cub Scouting and many more to be earned at all levels of scouting.
Cub Scout Den Leaders wear these patches. All adult leaders in scouting wear a similar patch showing their role.
Adult Leaders who have completed District Training wear this patch. The training is very detailed and takes between 5 and 8 hours.
