2016-2017:

To find out more about our pack please contact Doug Siddall (Pack Committee Chairman) [email protected].

Checklist to Get Started:

Cub Scout Basics:

The Cub Scouts is geared for 1st- through 5th-grade boys.  When boys join the Cub Scout pack, they are assigned to a den (usually 6 to 8 boys in the same school grade).  Tiger Cubs are 1st-grade boys and can meet twice a month, Wolf Cubs (2nd-graders), Bear Cubs (3rd-graders), and Webelos (4th- and 5th-graders) can meet weekly.
Once a month, all of the dens and family members gather for a pack meeting at Northminster Presbyterian Church.  The Cubmaster and Pack committee led the pack meetings.  The Pack committee consists of Cub Scout Pack 450 parents and members of the chartered organization.

    Advancement Trail:

  • Recognition is important to young boys.  The Cub Scout Advancement Trail provides fun for the boys, gives them a sense of personal achievement when earning badges, and strengthens family understanding as adult family members work with the boys on advancement projects.

PARENTS MUST HELP WITH RANK ACHIEVEMENTS.

    Belt Loops and Pins:

A variety of recognition items are available for the boys who participate in the Cub Scout Academics and Sports Program.  Belt loops are awarded to boys who complete the 3 belt loop requirements in an Academic or Sport.  Academic belt loops are gold, and Sport belt loops are silver.  Tiger Cubs, Cub Scouts, and Webelos may choose to continue their involvement in an academic or sport area to earn a pin.
